Historic Renovations and Installations

Victorian Landmark Home in Weehawken, NJ
HRS loves historic renovations and installations. What many in the industry see as troublesome and difficult we are excited about. Our goal is to provide an aesthetically pleasing and durable installation that blends modern materials and traditional methods of construction to meet the owner’s goals.

Halcyon Roofing has: hand formed standing seam aluminum panels to re-clad a 130’ high Church spire in Short Hills, NJ; demolished and craned off year’s of temporary repairs from a 110’ high belfry tower and installed a new wind ballasted EPDM assembly in Morristown, NJ; hand fabricated and installed a copper double-lock standing seam roof with built in gutter, in Basking Ridge, NJ to improve curb appeal of a traditional salt box home; and lobbied to save a repairable 90 year old Luduwichi tile roof at a university in Madison, NJ, saving the institution the replacement cost.

On a historic Victorian in Weehawken, NJ we removed a dilapidated Widow’s walk, removed and replaced a masonry chimney and restored the roof line to its original configuration.

Halcyon Roofing Solutions appreciates that every building is unique. Please contact us to review your roofing and waterproofing concerns.
